Overview

The Alesis Nitro Mesh Expansion Pack is purpose-built for drummers who have outgrown the standard eight-piece Nitro Mesh Kit configuration and want more voices at their fingertips. The pack adds an 8-inch dual-zone mesh drum pad and a 10-inch cymbal pad with choke functionality, bringing the total kit up to ten pieces. The mesh head on the drum pad delivers a natural stick response with reduced noise compared to rubber alternatives, and its dual-zone design lets you assign different sounds to the head and rim for more dynamic performances.

Setup is genuinely straightforward — the Nitro Mesh module has dedicated expansion ports, so you simply connect the included TRS cables, mount the pad and cymbal using the provided hardware, and start playing. The cymbal pad's choke feature adds an extra layer of realism, letting you silence the cymbal mid-ring by grabbing its edge. While the pack is strictly limited to the Nitro Mesh Kit ecosystem, it represents a cost-effective way to expand your electronic drum setup without replacing the entire kit.
