Allen & Heath AH-IP-8 OLED 8-Knob Remote Controller

The Allen & Heath AH-IP-8 is a compact, wall-mountable remote controller that provides eight precision rotary knobs, each equipped with its own OLED display, for hands-on control of Allen & Heath audio systems. Designed to integrate with AHM-64 audio matrix processors as well as dLive and Avantis mixing platforms, the IP-8 connects over standard Ethernet, allowing it to be placed in control rooms, lobbies, lecterns, or anywhere physical access to mixing parameters is needed without requiring proximity to the main console or processor. Each knob can be assigned to control volume, EQ, routing, or any other available parameter, with the OLED screen displaying real-time feedback so operators always know exactly what they're adjusting.

Built with a metal chassis measuring just 6.1 inches deep, 8.07 inches wide, and 2.4 inches tall, the IP-8 is designed for permanent installation in commercial AV environments such as houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, performing arts venues, and hospitality spaces. Configuration is handled through Allen & Heath's Director software, where system integrators can assign parameters, lock controls to specific ranges, and define zone-based access. Multiple IP-8 units can be deployed across a single network for distributed control throughout a facility. The Ethernet-based architecture means the controller draws power and data through a single cable when used with PoE-capable network switches, simplifying installation and reducing cable runs in the process.
