The Aputure LS 60 Softbox is a purpose-built modifier designed to transform the compact LS 60d and LS 60x LED lights into soft, controlled light sources suitable for interviews, narrative work, and small-scale product photography. When built, the softbox measures 350x350x300mm — a diffusion area larger than a standard 1x1 LED panel — yet it collapses to a remarkably slim 400x200x50mm profile for transport. This is a modifier designed around the LS 60's identity as a grab-and-go location light: you can throw it in a bag, set up on location in under two minutes, and have genuinely soft, shaped light without the bulk of a traditional softbox and speed ring system.

The kit includes two front diffusion panels rated at 1.5 and 2.5 stops of light loss, giving you meaningful creative range. The lighter diffusion preserves more output while still softening hard shadows — useful for fill or when ambient light levels are higher.
