Aputure F10 Barndoors for LS 600d Fresnel Lens

The Aputure F10 Barndoors are a purpose-built light shaping accessory designed for the Aputure F10 Fresnel lens attachment used with the LS 600d and LS 600x LED fixtures. Featuring an 8-leaf configuration rather than the more common 4-leaf design, these barndoors give cinematographers and lighting technicians significantly more control when sculpting the beam from the Fresnel lens. Each leaf is large enough to effectively flag the full width of the F10 Fresnel's 10-inch output, making it possible to create precise cutoffs, shape light around talent, or keep spill off walls and set pieces.

The barndoors attach via Aputure's drop-in latching system, which locks them securely onto the front of the F10 Fresnel without requiring any additional hardware or tools. Included with the barndoors is a black negative reflector dish, which replaces the standard silver reflector inside the Fresnel housing. This black reflector absorbs stray internal light rather than bouncing it forward, resulting in noticeably sharper shadow edges and less ambient spill — a valuable feature when working on controlled sets where precise lighting is essential.
