The Aputure F10 Barndoors are a professional light-shaping accessory built to work with the Aputure F10 Fresnel, which itself mounts on the LS 600d Pro and LS 600X Pro LED fixtures. The 8-leaf design sets these barndoors apart from more common 4-leaf models: four large primary leaves handle broad light cutoff, while four smaller helper flags positioned between them allow for fine-tuning corners and creating more complex beam shapes. This level of control is particularly valuable on film and commercial sets where precise light placement is critical and spill must be tightly managed.

The barndoors mount via Aputure's drop-in latching system, which locks them securely to the front of the F10 Fresnel without tools or adapters. The included black reflector dish replaces the standard silver reflector and absorbs internal light scatter, resulting in sharper shadow edges and more defined cutoff — an important characteristic when using barndoors to shape hard light from the Fresnel.
