Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary function of the Behringer 297 module?
The Behringer 297 is primarily a combination of two portamento controllers and multiple CV utilities, allowing for complex signal mixing and voltage generation within a Eurorack system.
Does this module produce its own sounds?
No, the Behringer 297 is a utility module designed to control and process existing CV signals and portamento, rather than generating its own audio sounds.
What kind of historical influence does the circuitry have?
The module features an authentic reproduction of original "System 100M" circuitry, providing a classic sound and feel for users.
How many CV inputs are available on the mixers?
Each of the two independent CV mixers includes four inputs, along with attenuators for precise control over incoming signals.
Can the portamento effect be modulated?
Yes, the two portamento controllers can be modulated via their dedicated CV inputs, offering more dynamic control over the glide effect.
What is the output range of the constant voltage generators?
The two constant voltage generators support a range of +/- 10 V, providing ample control for various Eurorack applications.
