Behringer S32 32-Channel Digital Stage Box

The Behringer S32 is a 32-channel digital stage box built to serve as the nerve center of a professional live sound setup. At its core are 32 fully programmable Midas-designed mic preamps, which can be remotely adjusted from a compatible digital mixing console over the AES50 network. This means a single Cat5e cable run from the stage to front-of-house replaces dozens of analog snake cables, dramatically simplifying setup and teardown while maintaining audiophile-grade signal integrity. The Klark Teknik SuperMAC networking technology behind the dual AES50 ports ensures ultra-low jitter and latency, critical for live performance where timing precision matters.

Beyond its core input/output capabilities — 32 mic preamps in and 16 servo-balanced XLR outputs back to the stage — the S32 offers thoughtful integration features. The Ultranet port connects directly to Behringer's Powerplay P16 personal monitoring system, giving each performer on stage independent control over their in-ear monitor mix. Two AES-3 (AES/EBU) digital ports allow direct connection to PA system controllers with digital inputs, reducing unnecessary D/A conversion in the signal chain.
