The Benro Master MAGND4S1015 is a 100x150mm soft-edge graduated neutral density filter designed for photographers who need precise exposure control across scenes with significant brightness differences, such as landscapes with bright skies and shadowed foregrounds. Built from Schott B270 German optical glass — one of the highest grades available for photographic filters — the glass is precisely ground to maintain sharpness across the entire frame without introducing ghosting or distortion. The 2-stop (GND4, 0.6 density) reduction is applied in a graduated pattern with a soft-edge transition, making it especially effective for scenes where the horizon is not perfectly straight.

Benro applies three specialized coatings to this filter. The ULCA multi-coating reduces lens flare and significantly minimizes chromatic aberration, achieving an average light transmission above 99% in the 420–680nm range.
