Cokin BP400A P-Series Filter Holder

The Cokin BP400A P-Series Filter Holder is a modular system designed to give photographers hands-on control over creative filtering directly at the lens. Unlike screw-on filters that are locked to a single thread size, the P-Series holder attaches to your lens via an adapter ring and accepts standard Cokin P-Series square and rectangular filters that simply slide into its slots. With three available slots, you can layer effects — such as graduated neutral density, color warming, and diffusion — simultaneously to achieve looks that would otherwise require post-processing.

The holder accommodates lenses with filter thread diameters up to 82mm when paired with the appropriate adapter ring, making it compatible with a broad selection of lenses from wide-angle to telephoto. Cokin recommends using it with focal lengths of 28mm and above in 35mm format to prevent the holder from intruding into the frame and causing vignetting. The system also supports Cokin's circular polarizing filter alongside rectangular filters, which is a practical advantage for landscape and outdoor photographers who regularly combine polarization with graduated filters. The holder's slim, lightweight profile means it adds very little weight or bulk to your shooting setup.
