The DJI Mic 2 is a wireless microphone system built for creators who need reliable, high-fidelity audio without complex setup. Out of the box, the pre-paired transmitter and receiver are ready to record, with omnidirectional capsules optimized for vocal clarity. The headline feature is 32-bit float internal recording on the transmitter, which captures an enormous dynamic range and effectively makes audio clipping a non-issue — even if levels are set incorrectly on the camera, the onboard recording preserves clean, adjustable audio. Each transmitter carries 8GB of internal storage, enough for approximately 14 hours of uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio.

DJI's intelligent noise canceling processes audio in real time to suppress wind, traffic, and ambient noise, reducing reliance on post-production cleanup. The system transmits wirelessly up to 250 meters (820 feet), and the receiver offers USB-C, Lightning, and 3.5mm TRS outputs to connect to virtually any camera, smartphone, tablet, or computer. Battery life runs approximately 6 hours per charge on both the transmitter and receiver, with an optional charging case (sold separately) extending total use to 18 hours.
