Fujifilm Prescale Sample Ultra Extreme Low Pressure Film

The Fujifilm Prescale Sample in Ultra Extreme Low pressure grade is a compact 4.2-inch by 3-inch piece of pressure-indicating film designed to let engineers, quality control professionals, and researchers evaluate the technology before committing to larger quantities. When placed between two contacting, mating, or impacting surfaces, the film produces a color change whose intensity corresponds directly to the amount of pressure applied. This provides an immediate, intuitive visual map of how pressure is distributed across the contact area — revealing high-pressure concentrations, uneven loading, or alignment issues that would be invisible to the naked eye.

At just 4 to 8 mils thick, the film is thin enough to conform to curved and irregular surfaces without meaningfully altering the interface being measured. This makes it particularly useful in environments where electronic pressure transducers are too bulky, too invasive, or simply cannot fit. The Ultra Extreme Low grade covers a pressure range of 0.87 to 7.3 PSI, targeting applications where very light contact forces need to be detected and mapped. All Prescale film is guaranteed to have at least 18 months of shelf life at the time of shipment, ensuring reliable results when the film is put to use.
