Pros & Cons
👍 Pros
- Features SMP (Series Multi-Stage Protection) circuit, absorbing damaging transient voltages to protect equipment
- Incorporates LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology) to provide AC noise filtration, ensuring the cleanest power delivery
- EVS (Extreme Voltage Shutdown) detects overvoltage conditions and shuts down to prevent damage to connected equipment
- Offers nine total outlets, including eight on the rear with wall wart spacing and security strapping, plus a front convenience outlet
- Includes a BNC connector on the rear panel for optional gooseneck lights, illuminating the back of the rack for visibility
👎 Cons
- This specific model does not offer pull-out lights, which might be a disadvantage for users needing front-panel illumination
- Requires a 20 amp female receptacle or an adapter, potentially limiting its plug-and-play compatibility with standard 15 amp outlets
- The 10-foot power cord, while substantial, may not be long enough for all rack setups in larger studio or stage environments
- While it protects against surges and overvoltage, it does not specify features like battery backup or uninterruptible power supply
- As a power conditioner, it does not amplify or modify audio signals, focusing solely on power delivery and protection
