GE FXWTC Whole Home System Replacement Filter Set

The GE FXWTC Whole Home System Replacement Filter Set is designed to keep your household water supply clean by reducing common contaminants like sand, soil, rust, and chlorine taste and odor. Each pack includes two NSF-certified filter cartridges that fit the GE GXWH04F and GXWH20S whole home filtration systems, as well as most third-party housings that accept the standard 10" x 2.5" cartridge size. Installation is a simple cartridge swap — turn off the water supply, remove the old filter, and drop in the new one.

Each filter is rated for approximately three months or 30,000 gallons of use, giving the two-pack a combined six-month supply under normal household conditions. The filters use a sediment-trapping media to catch particulates before they reach your faucets, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. While this set handles the basics of whole home filtration effectively, households concerned about heavy metals, VOCs, or microbiological contaminants will need a more advanced filtration stage in addition to these cartridges.
