The Hitachi 753285 sanding belts are designed for use with belt sanders that accept the 110 x 620 mm belt size. At 120 grit, these belts occupy the medium-fine range of the abrasive spectrum, making them a practical choice for smoothing wood surfaces after initial shaping, preparing surfaces for finishes like paint or stain, and removing minor imperfections without aggressive material removal. The 120-grit rating strikes a balance between cutting speed and surface smoothness, making it one of the most commonly used grits in woodworking and general finishing work.

Each package contains five sanding belts, manufactured in Italy. The belts are ready to install on compatible belt sanders without any modification. For best results, these belts are ideal as a second or third step in a multi-grit sanding progression — use a coarser grit (60-80) for initial stock removal, follow with these 120-grit belts for smoothing, and finish with a higher grit (180-220) if an extra-fine surface is desired.
