The Hoodman HoodEYE CTX-116-A7 is an aftermarket eyecup designed to replace the stock eyepiece on a broad range of Sony Alpha cameras. Its oversized profile wraps around the viewfinder to create a seal against stray light—a persistent annoyance when shooting in bright sunlight or mixed-lighting environments. The eyecup is molded from hypoallergenic silicone rubber that sits softly against the face, making it comfortable enough for extended portrait sessions, event coverage, or wildlife shoots where you spend long stretches looking through the viewfinder.
