Overview

The K&M 14355 Saxxy is an in-bell tripod stand engineered specifically for soprano saxophones. Its defining feature is portability — the aluminum tripod legs fold down to a footprint small enough to fit inside the bell of most soprano saxophones, and the included velour storage bag keeps the stand from rattling against the instrument during transport. For gigging musicians, pit players, and students who need a reliable resting spot for their horn without hauling a full-size stand, the Saxxy is an exceptionally practical solution.

Despite its compact size, the stand is built for dependable everyday use. Soft rubber pads at every instrument contact point prevent scratches and ensure a snug, secure fit when the soprano is seated in the bell. The tripod base spreads to provide stable three-point support, and rubber end caps on each leg grip floors ranging from polished hardwood to concrete. Manufactured in Germany by K&M — a company with over 70 years of experience in stands and holders — the 14355 reflects exacting build standards, backed by a 5-year warranty and a decade of replacement parts availability.
