KORG NTS-4 Analog Performance Mixer DIY Kit

The KORG NTS-4 is a 6-channel analog performance mixer aimed at players who build sprawling setups from small parts. Four stereo channels and two mono channels give it room to host volca units, NTS instruments, desktop synths, and modular gear at once, and every channel gets its own LEVEL, SEND, MUTE, and CUE controls. That per-channel layout is the heart of the pitch: it turns a tangle of standalone boxes into a single instrument you can perform on with both hands. The two mono inputs deserve special attention, since a switchable line/modular attenuator lets them take Eurorack-level signals without adapters, and dedicated SEND and RETURN jacks make inserting outboard effects straightforward.

Effects run on two fronts. Two independent stereo SEND engines cover delay, ping pong delay, hall reverb, slap reverb, and chorus per channel, while a master TOTAL FX stage applies LPF, HPF, isolator, flanger, phaser, decimator, drive, distortion, compressor, and limiter to the whole mix. On the ownership side, the NTS-4 belongs to Korg's Nu:Tekt series and arrives as a DIY kit that assembles in minutes, housed in a solid aluminum chassis meant to stay put in a fully patched rig. Connectivity is broad: high-resolution USB-C audio feeds DAWs, computers, and mobile devices, USB MIDI passes through to the hardware MIDI OUT, and standard 1/4" main outputs connect to monitors and live systems.
