The Kupo KS141611 Steadicam Stand is a purpose-built support system for camera stabilization rigs, constructed from black powder-coated steel to handle payloads up to 79.2 lbs (36 kg). Its two-section design adjusts from 52.1 inches to 80.08 inches in height and uses riser tubes of 40mm and 45mm diameter, providing a rigid column that minimizes flex under heavy loads. The fixed 5/8" baby stud adapter at the top is the industry-standard connection point for Steadicam docking brackets, allowing operators to safely park their rigs between shots without removing the sled from the vest.

What sets this stand apart from simpler rolling stands is the combination of 8-inch pneumatic wheels and a detachable center column. The air-filled tires absorb vibration and roll over cables, uneven floors, and outdoor terrain far more gracefully than hard rubber casters, which matters when you're moving a docked Steadicam rig across a busy set. The integrated leveling leg adds stability on sloped surfaces. When the center pole is removed from the base, it serves as a Moses Pole — a tall, freestanding pole used on set to route cables overhead or hold accessories out of the shot.
