Latin Percussion LP1415-BZ Prestige Bronze Timbales

The Latin Percussion LP1415-BZ Prestige Bronze Timbales are a professional-grade percussion instrument set featuring 14-inch and 15-inch bronze drums. As part of LP's Prestige Series, they are built for players who demand superior sound quality and reliable construction for rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances. The bronze shell material is the defining feature of this set — it produces a warmer, darker, and more harmonically rich tone compared to the brighter, more metallic sound of standard steel or chrome timbales, giving players a distinctive voice that blends particularly well in traditional Latin, jazz, and fusion contexts.

The set ships with mounting hardware for attaching both drums to a timbale stand, though the stand itself is sold separately. At 21 pounds total and measuring approximately 8.6 x 34.3 x 21.8 inches, these are substantial instruments that benefit from a sturdy stand and a reliable transport solution. The combination of the 14" and 15" sizes provides the classic high-low timbale pairing, offering enough tonal separation to cover cascara patterns, rim shots, and open tones across a wide dynamic range.
