Latin Percussion LP247A 13-Inch Timbale Head

The Latin Percussion LP247A is a 13-inch plastic timbale head built for players who need a dependable, consistent-sounding replacement. As a synthetic head, it resists the humidity and temperature sensitivity that can plague natural skin heads — a practical advantage for gigging musicians who perform in varying environments. The plastic construction delivers a bright, focused attack with clear projection, well-suited for cutting through a full percussion ensemble or band mix. It mounts on any standard 13-inch timbale shell, making it a versatile option across multiple LP timbale models and other brands that follow standard sizing.

Latin Percussion has long been a trusted name in hand drums and timbales, and the LP247A reflects their focus on reliable, accessible percussion components. Whether you are replacing a worn head before a show or keeping a spare in your hardware case, this head offers predictable performance and solid durability for rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances alike.
