Latin Percussion LP258S Tito Puente Timbales Set

The Latin Percussion LP258S Tito Puente Thunder Timbales are built for percussionists who demand bold, commanding sound from their instruments. Featuring 15-inch and 16-inch diameter shells with an extra-deep 10-inch depth, these timbales produce a noticeably fuller and more resonant tone than shallower models. The ribbed steel shell construction enhances projection and delivers the bright, cutting attack that defines authentic Latin percussion, whether you're playing cascara patterns, rim shots, or open tones.

The set comes ready to perform with a heavy-duty, fully height-adjustable tilting stand that provides rock-solid stability during aggressive playing while letting you dial in the perfect angle and height for your setup. A cowbell bracket is included for mounting a cowbell or other small percussion accessories directly to the stand, keeping your essential sounds within easy reach. Bearing the Tito Puente name — one of the most celebrated timbaleros in Latin music history — the LP258S set carries a legacy of quality and authenticity that makes it a trusted choice for salsa bands, Latin jazz ensembles, and session musicians who need their timbales to cut through a full horn section.
