M-Audio M-Track 2X2M USB Audio MIDI Interface

The M-Audio M-Track 2X2M is a USB audio and MIDI interface designed for musicians and producers who need clean recording, flexible connectivity, and MIDI integration in a single desktop unit. At its core are M-Audio's crystal preamps, delivering transparent sound capture at resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz. Two XLR+¼" TRS combo inputs handle condenser and dynamic microphones as well as line-level sources, while two dedicated ¼" high-impedance inputs are ready for guitar and bass. A switchable +48V phantom power supply ensures condenser microphones receive the voltage they need.

What sets the 2X2M apart from many interfaces in its class is the inclusion of 5-pin MIDI input and output, allowing direct connection of synthesizers, drum machines, and controllers without a separate MIDI-to-USB adapter. The USB/Direct balance knob on the front panel provides zero-latency monitoring, letting performers hear themselves in real time without waiting for the signal to round-trip through their DAW. Stereo ¼" outputs and a ¼" headphone jack with independent level control round out the monitoring options. Built into a rugged metal chassis, the M-Track 2X2M is designed for long-term desktop use.
