The Mackie Thump118S is an 18-inch powered subwoofer built around a 1400W ultra-efficient Class-D amplifier, engineered to deliver deep, authoritative bass reinforcement for live sound applications. With a frequency response spanning 30Hz to 150Hz, it handles the lowest octaves of music and audio content with force, making it well suited for DJ sets, live band performances, and installed venue systems. Three onboard voicing modes—Flat, Deep, and Punch—allow operators to shape the sub-bass character to match the acoustics of a specific room or the demands of a particular genre, from tightly controlled kick drum impact to extended, rumbling sub-bass.

Connectivity and system integration are central to the Thump118S design. Stereo XLR inputs accept signal from a mixer or processor, while stereo full-range and high-pass XLR outputs allow you to daisy-chain additional subwoofers or send a crossover-filtered signal to your top speakers without needing an external crossover unit. A variable crossover frequency control, polarity invert switch, and defeatable front LED round out the feature set. The integrated M20-threaded pole mount on top accommodates a standard speaker pole for stacking a full-range cabinet.
