The Mackie Thump115S is a 1,400-watt powered subwoofer built around a 15-inch low-frequency driver, designed to add serious low-end reinforcement to portable and installed live sound systems. Its onboard Class D amplifier provides ample headroom for venues ranging from small clubs to outdoor events, while four selectable voicing modes — Flat, Deep, Punch, and Variable — give operators precise tonal control without requiring an external processor. Connectivity is a strong point of the Thump115S. Two XLR inputs accept line-level signals from a mixer or media player, and the sub routes audio to tops via two high-pass filtered XLR outputs and two full-range XLR outputs. A mono-summing switch lets a single sub service a stereo system, and a 0°/180° phase-invert switch ensures proper coupling with the mains in any room. An integrated M20-threaded pole mount on top of the cabinet lets you plant a full-range speaker directly overhead, saving stage space and simplifying setup.
