The BrightMax WT-50 is a white vinyl sealing film engineered for researchers running luminescence assays on white microplates. Made from 203 µm thick white vinyl with a 37 µm acrylic adhesive layer, the film reflects light back into the well rather than absorbing or transmitting it, which directly improves signal intensity and signal-to-noise ratios. Each film measures 76.2 x 116.0 mm, sized to cover standard microplate formats, and features a split backing that allows controlled, bubble-free application — a practical detail that reduces waste from misapplied seals.

Beyond luminescence work, the WT-50 serves a secondary role in microscopy workflows, where it can be used for mounting and storing filter plate samples such as those generated in ELISPOT assays.
