Miller MFL-1-Z7/6FT TurboLite 6ft Fall Limiter

The Miller MFL-1-Z7/6FT TurboLite is a 6-foot Personal Fall Limiter designed as a direct replacement for conventional shock-absorbing lanyards. Its self-retracting webbing mechanism keeps the line taut at all times, which eliminates the loose slack that causes tripping hazards on scaffolding, steel structures, and elevated platforms. When a fall occurs, the internal stainless steel braking system engages within inches rather than the multiple feet of arrest distance associated with traditional lanyards, meaningfully reducing the total fall distance and the forces transferred to the worker.

Built with a high-strength, impact-resistant nylon housing, the TurboLite is both durable and light enough for all-day carry. The engineered webbing inside is constructed for enhanced abrasion resistance, standing up to rough edges and repeated deployment cycles. The unit end features a steel carabiner for anchorage connection, while the lanyard end uses a steel locking snap hook for secure attachment to a harness D-ring. A key operational advantage is that workers no longer need to swap between different fall protection devices when moving between areas with different fall clearance requirements — the TurboLite's short arrest distance accommodates tighter clearances without equipment changes. It is certified to OSHA 1926.502, OSHA 1910.66, ANSI A10.32, ANSI Z359.14 2012 Class A and B, and CSA Z259.2.2 Type 1 standards.
