Nanlite PavoTube II 15X LED Tube Fabric Barndoors & Grid

The Nanlite Fabric Barndoors and Grid kit is purpose-built for the PavoTube II 15X, addressing one of the most common challenges with tube-style LED lights: controlling where the light goes. Tube lights naturally emit a wide, wrap-around beam, which is excellent for soft fill but problematic when you need to keep light off a background, avoid lens flare, or selectively illuminate a subject. These barndoors solve that with four adjustable fabric flaps that let you progressively narrow the beam from a full 180° spread to a tightly focused angle under 5°. The included 45° fabric grid pushes directional control even further, channeling the output into a more defined column of light while preserving the tube's inherently soft quality.

Constructed from ripstop nylon, the entire kit is lightweight and folds flat, making it a practical addition to location kits where space and weight are at a premium. The mounting system uses a standard T12 diameter interface, so while it is optimized for the PavoTube II 15X, it also fits other 2-foot tube lights that share that form factor. Setup is straightforward — the barndoors attach securely without tools and stay in place during angle adjustments.
