Highly portable due to its thin 7mm profile and lightweight design of approximately 9.2g, making it easy to carry.
Features Nikon’s specialized multi-layer coating, which helps to minimize unwanted reflections and improve image quality.
Compatible with any 1 NIKKOR lens that has a 40.5 mm filter-attachment size, offering good versatility within the 1 NIKKOR system.

👎 Cons

Its function is specifically for macro-like photography, meaning it doesn't replace the full capabilities of a true macro lens.
Only compatible with 1 NIKKOR lenses that have a 40.5 mm filter-attachment size, limiting its use with other lens types or brands.
As an accessory, it requires an existing compatible lens to function, not being a standalone solution.
The "close up lens" nature suggests it primarily shortens the minimum focusing distance, not necessarily improving magnification or optical quality inherent to dedicated macro lenses.
Might introduce some optical aberrations at the very edges of the frame due to its supplementary lens design.
