The Panasonic LUMIX G Vario 100-300mm f/4.0-5.6 II POWER O.I.S. (H-FSA100300) is the updated version of Panasonic's popular super-telephoto zoom for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Offering a 200-600mm equivalent focal range on the smaller sensor format, it provides the kind of telephoto reach that would require a much larger and more expensive lens on a full-frame system. The Mark II revision addresses key shortcomings of the original by adding splash-proof and dust-proof construction, compatibility with LUMIX Dual I.S. 2.0 for enhanced stabilization, and a faster 240 fps linear autofocus motor for improved subject tracking.

The lens includes one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) element to reduce chromatic aberration, and the POWER O.I.S. system works independently or in concert with compatible LUMIX bodies to counteract camera shake — a critical feature when shooting handheld at 300mm (600mm equivalent).
