Its defining feature is a fully passive audio path — the signal passes through without encountering op amps or integrated circuits, which means no added noise, distortion, or coloration between your DAW output and your monitors. For engineers who rely on accurate monitoring to make mix decisions, this transparency is critical. The unit offers three stereo analog inputs and two stereo S/PDIF digital inputs supporting sample rates up to 192 kHz, providing enough connectivity to handle a DAW, a secondary playback source, and external hardware simultaneously.

On the output side, three stereo speaker outputs with individual select switches and trim pots let you switch between monitor sets instantly — ideal for checking mixes across nearfields, midfields, and secondary references. Dual 30-segment, fast-acting LED meters with peak hold give you precise visual feedback on output levels. The built-in talkback system includes an onboard microphone and a dedicated talkback input for an external mic, streamlining communication with performers during tracking sessions.
