The PreSonus HP2 is a personal headphone amplifier built for musicians and performers who need dependable, high-quality monitoring in live and rehearsal settings. It accepts two balanced XLR inputs, making it easy to connect directly to a mixing console's auxiliary sends or a stage box for a dedicated monitor mix. The onboard volume and pan controls let each performer tailor their listening balance, while the stereo/mono switch provides quick toggling between monitoring modes — a practical feature when working with mono aux sends or checking mix compatibility.

Designed for life on stage, the HP2 is compact enough to clip to a belt or mount on a microphone stand using the included hardware, keeping it within easy reach during a performance. It runs on a single 9V battery for fully portable operation, with battery-health LED indicators providing advance warning before power drops out. For longer sessions or fixed installations, an external DC power supply can be connected instead.
