The PreSonus NSB 16.8 is a purpose-built AVB-networked stage box that replaces bulky analog cable snakes with a streamlined digital audio network. With 16 locking combo mic/line inputs, each equipped with a remote-controllable XMAX preamp, the NSB 16.8 allows sound engineers to manage all stage-side gain adjustments directly from the front-of-house mixing position. The 8 locking XLR outputs handle monitor sends or other stage audio needs, while the dual AVB ports with locking XLR Ethernet jacks provide secure, reliable network connections that won't come loose during a performance.

Designed as a companion to PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixers, the NSB 16.8 delivers 32x8 AVB channels — 16 direct input channels plus 16 gain-compensated channels for shared input scenarios where multiple engineers need independent control. The rugged steel enclosure with integrated handles is built for the realities of live sound work, and practical touches like the Mute All button, +48V phantom power indicators, and locking IEC power jack reflect thoughtful engineering for stage use. Setup and control are handled through Series III mixers or the free PreSonus UC Surface software, keeping the workflow straightforward and centralized.
