The Rode Wireless ME is a compact wireless microphone system designed to make professional audio capture as simple as possible for filmmakers, podcasters, streamers, and content creators. Both the transmitter and receiver feature built-in broadcast-grade microphones, which means you can start recording immediately without any external mics — the transmitter captures your subject's voice, while the receiver's microphone is positioned to record the person behind the camera for interviews or voice-overs. When a dedicated lavalier is preferred, the transmitter accepts an external mic input and can be worn as a traditional belt pack.

At the heart of the system is Rode's intelligent GainAssist technology, which continuously monitors incoming audio and adjusts gain levels on the fly. This prevents the clipping and distortion that plague manual gain setups, especially in unpredictable environments like live events or run-and-gun shoots. The Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission delivers a stable, secure wireless link over 100 meters line-of-sight and holds up in dense RF environments where lesser systems drop out. With up to 7 hours of built-in lithium-ion battery life and USB-C charging for continuous operation, the Wireless ME is built for long shooting days.
