As part of the Cine DS line, it shares standardized focus and aperture gear positions with every other DS focal length, which means cinematographers can swap lenses mid-shoot without repositioning their follow focus rig. The lens is also color-matched across the DS series, ensuring that cuts between different focal lengths maintain a consistent color signature without heavy grading in post-production.
