The Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine DSX is a purpose-built cinema lens designed for Micro Four Thirds mount cameras. Its optical formula — 12 elements arranged in 10 groups with ultra multi-coating — delivers sharp, high-contrast images with well-controlled chromatic aberration and minimal flare. The fast T1.5 aperture opens up low-light shooting possibilities and produces beautifully shallow depth of field, while the 9-blade aperture diaphragm ensures that out-of-focus highlights render as smooth, rounded circles rather than harsh polygonal shapes.

As a dedicated cine lens, the DSX35-MFT is built around the needs of filmmakers rather than photographers. The focus and aperture rings are geared for compatibility with industry-standard follow focus systems, and the T-stop aperture marking ensures accurate, repeatable exposure settings when matching across multiple lenses in a kit. The 77mm front filter thread accommodates matte boxes and threaded ND or polarizing filters.
