The Rokinon Xeen XN24-MFT 24mm T1.5 is a purpose-built cinema lens designed for professional video production on Micro Four Thirds camera systems. Unlike photography lenses adapted for video use, the Xeen is engineered from the ground up for cinematography — featuring a generous 200-degree focus throw for precise manual focusing, de-clicked aperture ring for smooth iris transitions during recording, and an 11-blade diaphragm that renders pleasing, circular bokeh. The T1.5 maximum aperture transmits ample light for shooting in challenging conditions while providing the shallow depth of field that gives cinematic footage its distinctive look.

Built with a durable aluminum housing, the lens weighs 2.7 lbs and shares a unified 114mm front diameter with every other lens in the Xeen lineup. This standardization means a single matte box, follow focus, and lens support setup works across all focal lengths without readjustment — a practical advantage that saves significant time during production. The focus and aperture gear rings are positioned identically across Xeen lenses as well, further streamlining lens swaps.
