Roland PDA100-MS 10" Tom Pad for V-Drums

The Roland PDA100-MS is a 10-inch electronic tom pad designed to bring acoustic authenticity to V-Drums setups. Built around a full-size wood shell measuring 10 inches in diameter by 7 inches deep, it features a Midnight Sparkle wrap finish that gives it the appearance of a traditional acoustic tom. Both the batter and resonant sides use 2-ply mesh heads, delivering a natural stick response with significantly reduced acoustic noise — a meaningful advantage for home practice and studio environments where volume control matters.

The pad's dual-trigger system provides separate head and rim zones, each independently assignable through a compatible Roland sound module. This allows drummers to access rim shots, cross-sticks, or entirely different instruments from a single pad. Mounting is handled via a standard rod clamp that accepts diameters from 9mm to 13mm, fitting most Roland mounting hardware and many third-party tom arms. At 5.1 lbs, the PDA100-MS is light enough to reposition easily during setup without compromising the solid, planted feel that drummers expect from a wood-shell pad.
