Roland R-07-BK High-Resolution Handheld Audio Recorder Black

The Roland R-07-BK is a high-resolution handheld audio recorder built for portability without sacrificing sound quality. Its integrated stereo microphones capture detailed audio at resolutions up to 96 kHz/24-bit WAV, while simultaneous MP3 recording ensures you always have a lightweight file ready to share. The one-touch scene templates let you jump straight into recording whether you're capturing a lecture, rehearsal, or outdoor ambient sound, removing the guesswork from gain and format settings.

What sets the R-07 apart from many handheld recorders is its Bluetooth functionality. Using a compatible smartphone, you can wirelessly control recording, adjust levels, and monitor audio with low-latency Qualcomm aptX playback — particularly useful when the recorder is positioned away from you on a stand or table. The unit runs on two AA batteries with up to 16 hours of recording time, or it can draw power over USB for extended sessions. A mic/aux input expands your source options, while the headphone output and built-in speaker provide flexible monitoring. Storage is handled via micro SD cards in a compact, 5.3-ounce body that slips easily into any bag.
