For players who have invested in creating their own signature tones in the studio, the SD card import feature lets you bring those exact samples to the stage, ensuring consistency between your recorded and live sound.

Sound design on the TM-6 PRO goes well beyond simple sample playback. Each of the six trigger inputs — expandable to twelve via Y-cables — has its own independent signal chain including EQ, Compressor, multi-effects (MFX), and Roland's newly developed Transient effect, which gives you precise control over the attack and release of each drum sound. A powerful layer function lets you stack and blend sounds for richer textures, while three dedicated Sound Modify knobs provide immediate, tactile control over volume, pitch, decay, and other parameters without diving into menus.
