Fluorescent and discharge lights commonly emit a pronounced green spike that can cause unflattering skin tones and color casts that are difficult to correct in post-production. This filter selectively absorbs green wavelengths at a half-strength intensity, giving lighting technicians precise control over how much correction to apply—either on its own or stacked with 1/4 or full MinusGreen sheets for heavier correction.
