Achieve Superior Stitching Performance with Enhanced Durability
Experience enhanced durability and performance with the 10 Organ 15X1ST Titanium Needles. These needles feature a titanium nitride coating, providing extended lifespan and reduced breakage for embroidery and decorative stitching.
- Type: Ball Point
- Coating: Titanium Nitride (PD - Perfect Durability)
- Needle System: 15x1 ST: HAx1 ST, 705H-E
- Features: Oversize eye to reduce stress and tension on thread, accommodates metallic threads
- Application: Embroidery and decorative stitching on knits
Key Features
PD (Perfect Durability) or Titanium needles are the same great quality of Organ needles with the advantage of having a titanium nitride coating layered on the surface of the needle. With the titanium coating, these needles last up to five times longer than conventional chrome-plated needles. They are more wear resistant which reduces needle breakage, bending and distorting.
This is a special version of the 15x1 for embroidery and decorative stitching. It is made to higher standards for longer life.
It has an oversize eye to reduce stress and tension on the thread. It also accommodates metallic threads for heavier top stitching thread and makes needle threading easier.
Ball Point needles are used for sewing on knits; the rounded tip allows the needle to pass between the fabric threads by separating them.

Pros & Cons
👍 Pros
- Titanium nitride coating significantly extends needle life, lasting up to five times longer than chrome-plated needles.
- High wear resistance of the PD (Perfect Durability) titanium coating reduces needle breakage and distortion.
- Features an oversize eye specifically designed to reduce stress and tension on embroidery threads.
- Accommodates metallic threads and heavier top stitching thread, expanding creative possibilities.
- Ball Point tip is ideal for sewing on knits, as it passes between fabric threads without damage.
👎 Cons
- Specifically designed for embroidery and decorative stitching, limiting its general-purpose sewing utility.
- The benefit of the oversize eye is primarily for specific thread types like metallic and heavier topstitching threads.
- While durable, titanium needles are generally more expensive than standard chrome needles.
- Limited to the 15x1 ST needle system, which may not be compatible with all sewing machines.
- The "ball point" feature for knits means it may not be optimal for precise piercing of woven fabrics.
