Shure PGXD1=-X8 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter

The Shure PGXD1=-X8 is a digital wireless bodypack transmitter built for the PGX Digital wireless system. It captures audio from a connected lavalier or headset microphone via its TA4F input and transmits it digitally to a compatible PGXD receiver within a 200-foot operating range. The 24-bit digital audio path provides clear, consistent sound free from the companding artifacts sometimes found in analog wireless systems, with a full 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response that captures the complete range of vocal and instrumental detail.

The bodypack itself is compact and rugged with a secure belt clip for hands-free use during performances or presentations. A recessed gain dial on the side offers 26 dB of continuously adjustable input level, allowing you to optimize the signal for different microphones and speaking volumes without accidentally bumping the setting. Onboard LEDs indicate power status, mute status, and battery life, so you can monitor the transmitter at a glance. Running on 2 standard AA batteries for up to 10 hours, it is designed for full-day use without requiring a battery swap mid-event.
