The Shure QLXD14-V50 is a professional digital wireless instrument system built around the QLXD1 bodypack transmitter and the half-rack QLXD4 receiver. Designed specifically for guitarists and bassists who need cable-free performance without sacrificing tone, it transmits 24-bit digital audio across the V50 frequency band (174-216 MHz). The included WA305 premium instrument cable connects your guitar or bass to the bodypack, while AES-256 encryption ensures your signal stays secure. Battery life reaches up to 9 hours on two AA alkaline batteries, or up to 10 hours with the optional Shure SB900 rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Setup is straightforward thanks to the QLXD4 receiver's automatic channel scanning, which identifies open frequencies in your environment and deploys them to the transmitter via one-touch IR sync. For larger installations or multi-system touring rigs, the receiver's Ethernet port enables networked channel coordination and integration with Shure's Wireless Workbench software, giving sound engineers remote control over receiver settings from a PC or Mac.
