Overview

The Sirui SVM-165 is a three-section carbon fiber monopod built around a rapid twist-lock system that lets photographers and videographers extend or retract the full leg in a single motion. At maximum height it reaches 65 inches, collapses to 32.3 inches, and supports up to 22 pounds on a 36mm-diameter top tube. The carbon fiber construction keeps overall weight at 3.4 pounds, making it manageable for event, sports, and wildlife shooting where quick repositioning matters. An anti-slip silicone sleeve on the upper tube section provides a comfortable grip in varied weather conditions.

What sets the SVM-165 apart is its modular 3-in-1 architecture. The mounting plate, monopod leg, and tripod base all detach independently, allowing the base to function as a standalone low-angle tripod or the leg to serve as a simple extension rod. The integrated tripod base includes lengthened 15cm feet for added stability on uneven surfaces, along with a ball-locking knob that controls 360-degree panning and 36-degree tilting.
