The Solid State Logic X-Desk is a compact analog mixing hub built around SSL's SuperAnalogue circuit design—the same topology found in their large-format consoles. At its core are 8 dual-input mono line channels, each with a 100mm fader, pan control, and an insert send/return for integrating outboard processors. During mixdown, both the A and B inputs on each channel can be active simultaneously, delivering 16 channels of analog summing through SSL's stereo mix bus. Two additional stereo returns with level, pan, and bus assignment provide routing for effects or additional sources, bringing the total input count higher still.
