Soundcraft MSB-16i 16-Channel Digital Stagebox

The Soundcraft MSB-16i is a 16-channel digital stagebox engineered to streamline live sound and installed audio setups. By replacing traditional multi-pair analog snakes with a single RJ45/Cat5 Ethernet cable capable of running up to 100 meters, the MSB-16i dramatically reduces cable weight, setup time, and potential points of failure. Each of its 16 dedicated XLR mic inputs is powered by a Studer-designed preamp, delivering the audio fidelity that professional engineers expect in demanding live environments.

Housed in a compact 2U rackmount chassis, the MSB-16i is designed for seamless integration with Soundcraft Si series mixing consoles via its MADI connection. All preamp parameters are remotely controlled from the console, so engineers can adjust gain, phantom power, and input settings without leaving the mix position. With 8 XLR analog line-level outputs for stage monitors or other routing needs, the MSB-16i is well suited for live venues, houses of worship, corporate event spaces, and any installation where clean signal transport and reduced cabling are priorities.
