The Tiffen 62WPOL Warm Polarizer is a specialty filter that merges two commonly used photographic effects into a single piece of glass. Its polarizing element works like any circular polarizer — rotating the outer ring reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and foliage while deepening blue skies and boosting color saturation. Layered beneath is a warming tint that shifts the overall color balance toward amber, counteracting the cool blue cast that polarizers can sometimes introduce and adding a naturally flattering tone to skin, earth tones, and golden-hour light.
