The Tiffen 77mm Vector Star filter is a specialty effects filter designed to transform point light sources — such as streetlights, candle flames, sunlight glinting off water, and headlights — into radiating star patterns. Unlike fixed star filters with permanently oriented rays, the Vector Star uses a rotating mount that lets photographers and videographers dial in the exact angle and orientation of the star effect by simply turning the filter ring.
