The Tiffen 8280C 82mm 80C Color Conversion Filter is designed to solve a specific and common photographic challenge: correcting the heavy orange-yellow cast that results from shooting under tungsten or incandescent lighting with daylight-balanced film or a daylight white balance setting. By shifting the color temperature from approximately 3200K toward 5500K, the 80C filter neutralizes that warm cast and delivers images with accurate, natural-looking colors straight out of the camera.
