Overview

The Tilta Nucleus-M (WLC-T03) is a professional 3-channel wireless lens control system that gives camera operators and focus pullers precise, cable-free command over focus, iris, and zoom. The kit ships with a wireless FIZ hand unit, left and right wireless handgrips, two brushless motors, marking discs, and a fitted hard case. Because the motors receive signals directly from the controllers at distances up to 1,000 feet, the system eliminates the traditional MDR box entirely—reducing rigging weight, cable clutter, and potential points of failure on the camera build.

Precision is central to the Nucleus-M's design: marking discs, A-B limit stops, and electronic focus marking let focus pullers dial in repeatable marks just as they would on a wired unit. Run-stop functionality is built into both the FIZ unit and the handgrips, allowing operators to trigger camera recording remotely or via optional run-stop cables. The motors use a standard 0.8 mod gear pitch and ship with snap-on gear rings, ensuring broad compatibility with cinema lenses and adapted still-photo glass alike. For productions that need all three channels active simultaneously, a third motor can be added to the system.
